The BOFT of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and the International Trade Centre (ITC) are jointly organizing a briefing session in Taipei this month on using the trade information platforms “Market Access Map” and “Rules of Origin Facilitator.”
In order to help Taiwanese businesses obtain timely information, better understand rules of global trade and market access, and successfully expand export opportunities during the pandemic, the BOFT has invited ITC and Swiss analysts to explain how to use the Market Access Map and Rules of Origin Facilitator databases. The webinar will be held at 3:30 pm on March 24, 2021 at the Taipei International Convention Center and simultaneous interpretation will be available.
The Market Access Map and Rules of Origin Facilitator have been established for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by the World Trade Organization (WTO), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), and ITC. In the webinar, we have specially invited Mr. Dzmitry Kniahin who has experience as market analysts in well-known international organizations such as the International Trade Center (ITC), World Customs Organization (WCO) and World Trade Organization (WTO), businesses will learn how to use these databases to access information on tariff rates, import regulations and procedures, trade remedies, regulatory measures, rules of origin, and administrative procedures to apply for certificates of origin.
